Phacellophora camtschatica - Fried Egg Jellyfish

Tahlequah Ferry Dock, Vashon Island, Washington, USA
This Jelly is typically between 4” and 24” in diameter with 
tentacles reaching more than 6’ in length.  The internal organs
of this Jelly are yellow, giving it its common name.  On August 19, 2017,
we found a number of this Jelly in the water by the Tahlequah Ferry Dock
on Vashon Island.  It feeds on the Moon Jellyfish which is also shown in this
gallery.
