State Line Road, Arizona (southwest of Rodeo, New Mexico)
Adult males have red eyes, adult females have orange-brown or
yellow irises. The range of this subspecies is limited to the southern
part of New Mexico, southeastern Arizona, western Texas, most of
Chihuahua, and the northern part of Sonora.
