Blue-cheeked Bee-eater - Merops persicus chrysocercus

There are two subspecies of Blue-cheeked Bee-eater. This subspecies breeds in North Africa and winters in West Africa. Some consider this species to be conspecific with the Blue-tailed Bee-eater and the Olive Bee-eater. These framegrabs are from video recorded in The Gambia during November 2018 - video link.
