For my purposes, I have grouped South America and the islands of the Caribbean together. The highlighted areas cover my journeys in South America and the Caribbean. I lived in Puerto Rico for three years when I was an adolescent.
South America has diversity which matches its size. I have thought seriously about not chasing birds very fast at 14,000 feet and wondered whether the stuff in my eye was sweat, tears, rain, or stream water in the Amazon. There are lots of stories from South America, some much more enjoyable than others. As is standard protocol for this site, the country link below will take you to a page on this website.
