Helmeted Guineafowl - Numida meleagris galeatus

This subspecies of Helmeted Guineafowl is sometimes called the West African Guineafowl. There are nine subspecies of Helmeted Guineafowl. The range of this species extends from west Africa to southern Chad, the central part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and northern Angola.
