The Long-tailed Cormorant is found in Sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar. This subspecies is not found on Madagascar. The genus (Microcarbo, Phalacrocorax, or Halietor) is unsettled. The video framegrabs shown here are from recordings made in The Gambia during November 2018 - video link.
