Dark Chanting Goshawk - Melierax metabates metabates
The Gambia - November 2018
Although there are populations in Southern Morocco and Arabia, the bulk of the population of this species is found in Sub-Saharan Africa. There are five subspecies of Dark Chanting Goshawk. The range of this subspecies is the northern part of the Sub-Saharan range of the species, extending from Senegambia east to northern Tanzania.
