(African) Wire-tailed Swallow - Hirundo smithii smithii

The Wire-tailed Swallow is found throughout Africa and much of southern and southeastern Asia. The nominate form, which is shown here, has a range which is restricted to Africa. This subspecies is known as the African Wire-tailed Swallow. There is one other subspecies.
