Malachite Kingfisher - Corythornis cristatus galeritus

There are five subspecies of Malachite Kingfisher, the one found in The Gambia is C. c. galeritus. This species is found in much of Africa south of the Sahara. It was first described as Alcedo cristata. These images are framegrabs from video taken in The Gambia during November 2018 - video link.
