African Grey Woodpecker - Dendropicos (Mesopicos) goertae goertae

The African Grey Woodpecker is found in much of Sub-Saharan and Equatorial Africa. The genus name differs by taxonomic authority. It is called the Grey-headed Woodpecker by some authorities and the IOC refers to it as the African Grey Woodpecker.
